JMIR Publications is pleased to announce that JMIR Dermatology has signed an agreement with the Cochrane Library (Wiley) to co-publish commentary/summary articles based on the Cochrane Reviews.
JMIR Dermatology will publish original summary/commentary articles which comment on Cochrane Reviews. Cochrane Reviews are systematic reviews of research in health care and health policy that are published in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews in the Cochrane Library.. JMIR Dermatology’s Cochrane Corner will focus on the reviews from Cochrane Skin and Cochrane Wounds. JMIR Dermatology’s Editor-in-Chief Dr. Robert Dellavalle, who is also Joint Co-ordinating Editor of Cochrane Skin, had the following to say: “JMIR Dermatology is a rapidly growing journal in focus and scope and we are looking at innovative ways to disseminate research in the field. We are delighted to have the opportunity to publish commentary on the [Cochrane] Reviews.”
JMIR Dermatology is a multidisciplinary journal focusing on all topics related to diseases of the skin, hair, and nails, with special emphasis on technologies for information exchange, education, and clinical care. The co-publication of Cochrane Reviews can be found in JMIR Dermatology’s Cochrane Corner e-collection.
