Subthemes included young age, finances, the importance of online community support, social life, fear of surgery, egg retrieval, and confidence and redefining beauty standards. This study demonstrates that vlogs by women with breast cancer receive significant levels of engagement and represent an important site of online community for women. Theory-Based Social Media Intervention for Nonmedical Use of Prescription Opioids in Young Adults: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Theory-Based Social Media Intervention for Nonmedical Use of Prescription Opioids in Young Adults: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Notably, NMUPO is strongly linked with the initiation of heroin and synthetic opioid use (eg, fentanyl) in young adults, posing a substantial risk for the development of substance use disorder (SUD) and overdose [13]. Hence, interventions targeting young adults are urgently needed to address NMUPO, and those should be delivered beyond the college population [14]. Interventions for NMUPO in young adults should take psychosocial factors into account.

School-Partnered Collaborative Care (SPACE) for Pediatric Type 1 Diabetes: Development and Usability Study of a Virtual Intervention With Multisystem Community Partners

This can adversely affect both student and parent experiences with school care [14-16] and may impact health outcomes, as young children with type 1 diabetes have higher blood glucose on average during school as compared to weekends or virtual school days [17]. School nurses have also endorsed difficulty coordinating care with students’ medical teams, which can lead to gaps in care [12].
