The participatory co-design framework facilitated collaborative approaches that actively involved older adults in the design and decision-making processes of the learning sessions to ensure that the sessions were engaging, built on the lived experiences of participants, and met their self-identified learning needs [12,20] (Au et al [55] reported in detail on the co-design process).
