YMSM under 25 years of age represent a demographic with increasing numbers of new HIV infections even as HIV incidence is declining globally [9]. Although there were some data on HIV prevalence among YMSM [9,10], the epidemic remains poorly defined among in this population [11], particularly the data of incidence is scarcely reported. Understanding HIV incidence—especially among subgroups of key populations—is essential for effectively targeting strategies to prevent new HIV infections [12].

Furthermore, the high-incidence regions for esophageal cancer are primarily distributed in East Asia, Southeastern Africa, and Northern Europe, while the high-incidence regions for gastric cancer are mainly distributed in East Asia and Eastern Europe [5]. The spatial distribution of these 2 cancers exhibits certain overlapping patterns. However, there has been no global-level spatiotemporal correlation analysis simultaneously examining the incidence of both esophageal and gastric cancer [17-22].

More precise contemporary data to estimate the incidence of RSV in the community and understand the clinical and economic burden of RSV infection in adults would assist in planning any new RSV vaccination program.
Deployed at scale, POCT for RSV has the potential to address the gaps in our knowledge about incidence, clinical presentation, and disease burden.

Effect of Smoking on the Development of Migraine in Women: Nationwide Cohort Study in South Korea
We, therefore, aimed to conduct a population-based prospective cohort study to investigate the effects of smoking on the incidence of migraine in women. The effects of smoking were further stratified according to hormonal status to determine the differential risk and control for potential confounders.

HIV incidence density and 95% CI were calculated as the number of HIV seroconversions divided by PYs over the observed time among those tested HIV-negative at baseline, assuming the exact Poisson method. This method is appropriate for rare events, such as HIV incidence, and accounts for the uncertainty in the estimated rates due to the limited number of events and person-time observed [26]. The cumulative incidence of HIV infection was estimated by Kaplan–Meier methods.

However, recent evidence particularly over the past decade has revealed a rise in the incidence of early age-onset CRC (EAO-CRC), defined as diagnosis among those younger than 50 years [2]. For example, a 2020 Canadian study [3] showed that between 2008 and 2017, the 30- to 39-year age group accounted for the most significant increase with age-specific average annual percent changes of 4.33 (95% CI 2.79-5.91) for female individuals and 4.53 (95% CI 2.89-6.19) for male individuals.

Ischemic Stroke After Bivalent COVID-19 Vaccination: Self-Controlled Case Series Study
Since individuals serve as their own control and the incidence rates of the outcome of interest are compared within individuals, all time-invariant confounding variables are controlled. The SCCS analytic data sets included individuals who experienced ischemic stroke events between September 1, 2022, and March 31, 2023, had completed a COVID-19 vaccine primary series, and had received their last monovalent dose ≥60 days before September 1, 2022. We required KPSC membership on September 1, 2022.
